Wednesday, September 23rd, 2009The Metafocus China team have recently returned from China with the final step in becoming a Global company. After securing our first office in Chengdu in the South West of China, Metafocus China recruited our sales manager Tonny Deng. Based at our Chinese office in Chengdu, we were also pleased to produce the UK and international websites for the Chengdu Hi Tech Zone.
China Foreign Investment
The city of Changdu, the capital of Sichuan province in South Western China, is also the home of Hi Tech companies and research for international companies. The Government initiative created the Chengdu Hi Tech Zone (CDHT) to not only develop the area as a specialist zone for Science and Technology, R&D and Hi Tech companies but also as an area for China Foreign Investment. As this is the first Hi Tech Zone in China, Chengdu is the flahship city for inland investment in inland China.
With a largely established number of foreign enterprises, including Intel, Ericsson and Nokia to name a few, CHDT are now looking to broaden their international outlook for foreign investment and for companies wishing to utilise the local talent pool and the modern facilities.

First established in 1988, the zone has grown in size and capacity and now boasts a South and West park which each specialise in a distinct field. The South Park is dedicated to software and R&D and the West Park specialises in Manufacturing. CDHT not only provides space and the resources for foreign enterprises but also the support needed for setting up a company in China. The two Government service centres are available in both parks to provide the legal assistance and also the financial support for the initial investment.
Housing all the facilities, support, staff and accessibility from the local international airport, CDHT offers the perfect investment environment for foreign enterprises looking to invest and set up in China. The weather isn’t bad as well! Visit www.ChengduHiTech.co.uk for more information about investing in China.
