Welcome to Four Corners IFA Nottingham

Friday, May 30th, 2008

IFA NottinghamWe’ve recently completed our SEO setup for our latest customer, Four Corners IFA Nottingham, based in West Bridgford and are proud to add them to our ever-growing list of ongoing search engine optimisation customers.

We’re already managing a PPC campaign in Google Adwords for Four Corners but the addition of SEO to their marketing armoury is where we’re hoping to make significant gains.

Four Corners Nottingham IFA offer a wide range of services including personal financial advice, business financial advice and mortgage advice. They are primarily targetting customers in the local Nottingham area but have a number of skills which are non-geo specific including: personal pensions, inheritance tax planning and retirement planning.

We’ve inherited the website design from another supplier but are planning on some fairly significant visual and structural changes as the site develops.

So, welcome to Four Corners, we’re looking forward to getting some excellent results for you in the next few weeks.

Metafocus talks Global Online Marketing with UKTI

Thursday, May 15th, 2008

Filming Alan at MetafocusThe office doubled as a film set yesterday as Metafocus was filmed as a case study for a promotional video by UK Trade & Investment.

Alan Clements, MD of Metafocus, spoke with Sandra Harrison from Revival Studios about his seminars on Export Online Marketing for UKTI and also how their services have assisted Metafocus to open the China market and develop its strategy for developing international websites. The film crew also filmed the Metafocus team in the office working their magic for website development and online marketing. You can view the video here.

Metafocus has now established an international clientèle by developing European Websites in Polish and Norwegian, and is now developing Chinese Websites. Talking about the international scope of Metafocus, Alan discussed the importance of an international outlook for any online business and the potential that UK companies have in growing their global online presence.

An effective localised online marketing strategy is the next step for any successful business targeting international markets. It is not enough just to translate your website into the language of your target market. Metafocus can not only develop the site in your chosen language but also provide the right ongoing online marketing support by working closely with overseas partners. Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is becoming increasingly competitive and complex and Metafocus is firmly embracing new developments to take UK businesses to the Global stage.

Cascades Gardens – New Derbyshire Garden Website

Cascades Garden Derbyshire

Cascades Gardens is a luxury bed and breakfast with a beautiful 4 acre garden set in the historic village of Bonsall, near Matlock Derbyshire. Cascades Gardens have just launched a new website totally devoted to their Garden. The original garden section on the Bed and Breakfast site just didn’t do the garden justice, so we have designed and built a website totally devoted to it.

The site can be found at http://www.derbyshiregarden.com/

One the website there are lots of photographs taken during different seasons over the last 12 years. There are many interesting before and after pictures of the garden which document the changes made to the garden since Alan and Elizabeth moved into the property. The gardens have been completely transformed and shaped into its present day appearance. The 4-acre landscape surrounds the ruins of an old corn mill and lead mine. The garden features high cliffs, ponds, a stream, canal and several cascading waterfalls.

Recently the BBC filmed the garden. The piece by John Stirland and Martin Fish will appear on The East Midlands Today programme on 6.30pm , Thursday 15th May.

Fliming during the recent BBC visit

The garden is home to a wide variety of unusual herbaceous perennials, water marginals, trees and shrubs. The garden has been designed to provide colour and interest all throughout the year.

People who visit the garden can also look around the flower nursery. A wide selection of herbaceous perennials and hellebores are available to buy. These flowers will appeal to serious gardeners or simply people looking for something different to make their garden really stand out.

Cascades Gardens are open to the public 10.00am to 5.00pm on Wednesdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays between 1st April to 30th September. Please click here for any enquiries or to arrange a group visit.
