Cascades Gardens – New Derbyshire Garden Website
Cascades Gardens is a luxury bed and breakfast with a beautiful 4 acre garden set in the historic village of Bonsall, near Matlock Derbyshire. Cascades Gardens have just launched a new website totally devoted to their Garden. The original garden section on the Bed and Breakfast site just didn’t do the garden justice, so we have designed and built a website totally devoted to it.
The site can be found at http://www.derbyshiregarden.com/
One the website there are lots of photographs taken during different seasons over the last 12 years. There are many interesting before and after pictures of the garden which document the changes made to the garden since Alan and Elizabeth moved into the property. The gardens have been completely transformed and shaped into its present day appearance. The 4-acre landscape surrounds the ruins of an old corn mill and lead mine. The garden features high cliffs, ponds, a stream, canal and several cascading waterfalls.
Recently the BBC filmed the garden. The piece by John Stirland and Martin Fish will appear on The East Midlands Today programme on 6.30pm , Thursday 15th May.

Fliming during the recent BBC visit
The garden is home to a wide variety of unusual herbaceous perennials, water marginals, trees and shrubs. The garden has been designed to provide colour and interest all throughout the year.
People who visit the garden can also look around the flower nursery. A wide selection of herbaceous perennials and hellebores are available to buy. These flowers will appeal to serious gardeners or simply people looking for something different to make their garden really stand out.
Cascades Gardens are open to the public 10.00am to 5.00pm on Wednesdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays between 1st April to 30th September. Please click here for any enquiries or to arrange a group visit.
