Our global Internet marketing forum was a great success, over 35 people came from local business originations such as UK TI, East Midlands China bureau, Nottingham and Derby Chambers of Commerce as well as students from Nottingham Trent and Loughborough University and members of the Metafocus team.

Anja, Ornella and Jessica did a great presentation on the importance of language and culture on the Internet and Ian Lockwood blew our minds with all the reasons why to have ongoing online marketing including the advantages of blogging, Twitter and LinkedIn. Alan Clements our MD did his usual confident presentation outlining the key things to think about when planning an global online marketing strategy stressing the importance of having local domains and localising for your foreign language websites.
The workshop was well received and number of organisations expressed a interest in supporting further forums.
